Gambling White Paper:
A Framework to Innovate and drive more significant Social Impact

ESG Gaming welcomes the publication of the Gambling White Paper and the Gambling Commissions’ Advice to Government. Both papers are thorough and provide a timely framework to enable Third Sector and research organisations to align objectives and activities to achieve maximum social impact in a coherent, collaborative and coordinated way.

ESG Gaming will continue to approach this transition period in a positive, solutions-focused manner, with our efforts spent on delivering our social purpose with partners; evidencing our collective impact; and publishing high-quality research with academic partners. It is this work which we will evidence in our responses to the consultations that will now follow. Any consultations we specifically respond to will also be published transparently on our website. ESG Gaming focuses on safer gambling, player protection & sponsorship in (i) esports and (ii) web3. It is only in these areas we will focus on any responses to consultations. With the above in mind, we are publishing our initial response to the White Paper. ESG Gaming stands ready to support and contribute to the various consultations which will now follow.
