ESG Gaming continues to have a laser focus on our vision ‘To ensure that consumers worldwide possess the skills, knowledge, resilience, and tools to engage with digital entertainment in a safe, responsible, positive, and inclusive manner’. We remain committed to working collaboratively, to not only deliver high quality educational products and research in this sector, but more importantly contribute insight and learning. We have a particular focus on the creation of a Web3 (metaverse) which specifically focuses on consumer protection and educational awareness of gambling in gaming & esports. Our platform will contain information on mental & physical health; diet & nutrition; financial capability and in game microtransactions; Non-Fungible Tokens and emerging tech; mindfulness; safer gaming, and links to treatment and support organisations. We have a responsibility in the development and build of our platform to ensure it is not only well evaluated, evidence and consumer-led, but that we are building it mindful of international standards around Web3 development from such organisations as the Khronos Group, World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Open Geospatial Consortium, OpenAR Cloud, Spatial Web Foundation, and others. Therefore joining the Metaverse Standards Forum as a principle member allows us to gain valuable insight from other members, share and seek input in to our platform. It also allows ESG Gaming to work collaboratively as part of a global Web3 build community, minimising duplication and upholding the highest standards for development.
ESG Gaming will be announcing its tech-build partner shorty and we will also publish our Web3 wireframe from our UX designers. The wireframe will allow all stakeholders to agree on where the information will be placed within our Web3 platform before the developers build the interface out with code. We look forward to sharing this wireframe in a structured way with the Metaverse Standards Forum members, our consumer groups and stakeholders to gain as much insight, counsel and opinion as we can
In addition, ESG Gaming have renewed our membership with Crypto UK, the UK’s self-regulatory trade association for the UK cryptoasset industry, established to promote higher standards of conduct. Again we look forward to working alongside Crypto UK’s members as we move in to the development and build phase of our platform.
